Quang Trung, also known as Nguyễn Huệ, was a king of the Tây Sơn Dynasty who ruled from 1788 to 1792. He was a military genius and a national hero of Vietnam. During his reign, he successfully led the Tây Sơn Rebellion against the ruling Nguyễn Dynasty. The most important wars that occurred during his tenure were the Battle of Ngọc Hồi-Đống Đa in 1789 and the Battle of Rạch Gầm-Xoài Mút in 1790. These battles were crucial in securing Quang Trung's victory and establishing his rule over Vietnam.
