Mangsong Mangtsen was the Emperor of the Tibetan Empire from 660 to 674. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and conflicts. One of the most important wars was the Battle of Dafei in 663, where the Tibetan Empire successfully defeated the Tang Dynasty of China. Another notable conflict was the Tibetan-Sogdian War, which took place from 670 to 671. This war was fought against the Sogdian city-states and resulted in the Tibetan Empire expanding its influence in Central Asia. Mangsong Mangtsen's rule was marked by these military victories, which solidified the Tibetan Empire's power and territorial expansion during the 7th century.
