Nasiruddin Mahmud Shah I was the Sultan of the Bengal Sultanate, reigning from 1451 to 1459. Another notable conflict was the Battle of Sonargaon in 1459, where Mahmud Shah I emerged victorious against the rebellious Raja Ganesha.
