Al-Muktafi was the Caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate who ruled from 903 to 908. During his reign, the most significant war was the Abbasid-Saffarid War, which took place from 900 to 903. This conflict saw the Abbasids, led by Al-Muktafi, successfully defend their territories against the Saffarids. Another notable war during his tenure was the Abbasid-Tulunid War, which occurred from 905 to 906. This conflict arose when the Tulunids, under the leadership of Harun ibn Khumarawayh, rebelled against Abbasid rule. Al-Muktafi's forces were able to suppress the rebellion and maintain control over the Abbasid Caliphate.
