Xuantong, Emperor of China (1908-1912) and of Manchukuo (1934-1945) (Qing Dynasty) : All Data
Xuantong, also known as Puyi, was the last Emperor of China, ruling from 1908 to 1912 during the Qing Dynasty. His reign began at the age of two and ended with the Xinhai Revolution, which overthrew the imperial system. Although his reign was short-lived, it witnessed significant events such as the Wuchang Uprising in 1911, which marked the beginning of the Xinhai Revolution. However, as Xuantong was only a child during this period, he had limited involvement in the political affairs of the time. Therefore, the most important wars during his tenure were the ones that occurred after his reign, such as the Chinese Civil War and the Second Sino-Japanese War.
