Al-Mansur was the second Abbasid Caliph who ruled from 754 to 775 in the Abbasid Caliphate. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and revolts. One of the most important conflicts was the Abbasid Revolution, which took place from 747 to 750, leading to the overthrow of the Umayyad Caliphate and the establishment of the Abbasid dynasty. Another notable war was the Battle of Talas in 751, where the Abbasids allied with the Tang Dynasty against the Chinese Tangut forces, resulting in a decisive victory for the Abbasids.
