Chenghua was the Emperor of the Ming Dynasty who ruled from 1464 to 1487. He governed over China during a period of relative peace and stability. While there were no major wars during his reign, there were a few notable revolts, such as the Prince of Anhua Rebellion in 1477 and the Prince of Ning Rebellion in 1482. These uprisings were swiftly suppressed by the imperial forces, ensuring the continuation of Chenghua's rule and the preservation of Ming Dynasty's authority.
