Was a principality consisting of the island of Elba off the coast of Tuscany. It was given to Napoleon as his personal non-hereditary domain during his exile in accordance to the Treaty of Fontainebleau on 11 April 1814. When Napoleon returned to France, the principality ceased to exist.
