Disestablishment
- January 1337: The state inherited by the Orsini was the county of Sovana, a fief of the Aldobrandeschi family, which passed in the second half of the 14th century into the hands of Romano Orsini, son of Bertoldo I, husband of the heiress Anastasia Aldobrandeschi.
