  • January 1201: The noble de Sacco family, residing in the castle of Mesocco and later vassals of the Duchy of Milan, had lordship over the Mesolcina valley since the 12th century.
  • January 1391: In 1390 the ancestral dominion of Belmont passed to her daughter from her first marriage Elisabeth and her husband Kaspar von Sax-Misox.
  • March 1424: Hans von Sax-Misox swears loyalty to the Grey League.

Disestablishment

  • January 1459: The Barons of Sax-Forstegg made an alliance with the Old Confederation in 1458.
