The Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM-Nur) is a faction of the Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdel Wahid al-Nur. It has been active in the Darfur region, fighting against the Sudanese government for greater rights and autonomy.

Establishment

  • September 2023: The Sudan Liberation Movement-Nur faction (SLM-Nur) occupied Tawila.
  • December 2023: The SLM-Nur seized an RSF garrison in Deribat, South Darfur.
