Was a precolonial federation located in modern-day Nigeria. It became a British protectorate in 1890.

Establishment

January 1841: The successor state, the Wukari Federation, was established around 1840.

1. Events

January 1856: The center of the state of Jukun is moved to Wukari. The State became known as Wukari.

Disestablishment

January 1891: By 1890 the Protectorate of Northern Nigeria was created. At this point most petty Kingdoms of southern Nigeria were already under British rule.
