1. Events

  • January 1227: Vechta County is partitioned from Ravensberg.
  • January 1245: The rulers of Vechta became extinct and the County fell to Ravensberg.
  • January 1253: The Münster Prince-Bishopric acquired Vechta.
  • January 1301: In the 13th century, the noble lords of Lippe ruled in Enger, who were given their power by Henry the Lion and from that point on worked as bailiffs.

Disestablishment

  • January 1347: The Dynasty of Ravensberg gets extinct, and the County falls to Berg.
