Was a polity located in the modern-day Indian State of Odisha.
Establishment
- January 1151: A legend states that Talcher was founded in the 12th century by one of four brothers belonging to the Kachwaha Rajput dynasty of Jaipur who were on a pilgrimage to Puri. During the same journey another brother became the ruler of Bonai State and two others were killed.
