Was an Islamic Kingdom in western Java. Its territories consisted the Parahyangan region, before it became a vassal state of the Mataram Sultanate.

Establishment

  • January 1528: Sumedang Larang was an Islamic Kingdom in western Java. Its territories consisted the Parahyangan region, before it became a vassal state under the Mataram Sultanate. In 1527, the territory of actual Sumedang regency was added to Sumedang Larang.

Disestablishment

  • January 1621: Sumedang Larang was an Islamic Kingdom in western Java ruled by Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. In 1620, the territory was annexed by the Mataram Sultanate under the rule of Sultan Agung. This marked the end of Sumedang Larang's independence and its incorporation into the larger Mataram Sultanate.
