1. Conquests of Azzone Visconti

Expansion during the rule of Azzone Visconti in the Signoria of Milan.

  • January 1333: Domain of Milan over Pavia 1332-1336.

  • January 1155: Vigevano was granted to Pavia by Holy Roman Emperor Barbarossa in 1154.
  • January 1158: The city of Vigevano is conquered by the Milanese in 1157.
  • January 1159: Vifevano returns under the control of Pavia.
  • January 1165: In 1164 Emperor Frederick I submitted Mortara to the dominion of Pavia.
  • January 1221: In 1220 Robbio was definitively subjected to Pavia.
