Establishment

• December 1920: The League of Nations formally conferred a Class C Mandate over the former German Colony of Samoa to the Dominion of New Zealand.

1. Events

• November 1947: Full independence was granted to New Zealand with the Statute of Westminster in 1931 and adopted by the New Zealand Parliament in 1947.

Disestablishment

• January 1962: Independence of Samoa.
