Were a sharif dynasty from the line of the Muhammad's grandson Hasan bin Ali which ruled around 1063-1174. Their centre of power was in Jazan, in Saudi Arabia.
Establishment
- January 1070: The Sulaymanids were a dynasty of Sherifs from the line of al-Ḥasan, whose center of power was in Ḥarāḑ in northern Tihama in present-day Saudi Arabia and reached Yemen.

Disestablishment
- January 1174: Tūrānshāh arrived in Yemen and subdued the country. The rule of the Sulaymanids was thus effectively ended.
