Was a precolonial Kingdom on the east coast of Madagascar. It became a vassal of Imerina in 1817.

Establishment

  • January 1713: Tamatave (Betsimisaraka) kingdom setup by Ratsimilaho.

  • January 1818: The Tamatave Kingdom becomes a vassal of Imerina (later Madagascar).
