Was a Hindu dynasty during the early medieval period that ruled over Bengal and succeeded to the Pala Dynasty.
Establishment
- January 1151: The Chero Dynasty ruled the northern regions of the Indian subcontinent, corresponding to the present-day Indian states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, after the fall of the Pala Empire.
- January 1151: The Pala dynasty was replaced by the Sena dynasty.

1. Events
- January 1158: In 1157 the Kalachuris of Kalyanis under Bijjala II captured Kalyani and occupied it for the next twenty years.
- January 1178: In 1157 the Kalachuris of Kalyanis under Bijjala II captured Kalyani and occupied it for the next twenty years.
- January 1201: Mayurbhanj State was established in the 12th century by the Bhanj dynasty.
- January 1203: In 1202, the capital Nadiya was evacuated by Sena King Lakshman Sen before Ghurid General Bakhtiyar Khalji's arrival.
- January 1207: In 1193 the Ghurid Sultan Muhammad conquered Delhi and left a slave lieutenant Qutab-ud-din Aybak, in charge when he returned to Afghanistan. When Muhammad was assassinated in 1206, Aybak declared independency and established the Mamluk Dynasty of the Sultanate of Delhi.
Disestablishment
- January 1231: The Deva dynasty ruled over eastern Bengal after the Sena dynasty.
