The Haryanka dynasty was overthrown by the Shishunaga dynasty that thereafter ruled over the Indian region of Magadha.

1. Events

  • January 399 BC: Expansion of the Magadha Kingdom until 400 BC.
  • January 379 BC: Expansion of the Magadha Kingdom until 380 BC.

Disestablishment

  • January 344 BC: The last Shishunaga ruler, Mahanandin, was assassinated by Mahapadma Nanda in 345 BC, the first of the so-called "Nine Nandas".
