1. Kuwaiti-Rashidi war

Was a conflict between the Sheikhdom of Kuwait and the Emirate of Jabal Shammar which was fought from 1900 to 1901.

  • February 1901: Kuwaitis moved into Najd towards at the end of February 1901.
  • March 1901: The Kuwaitis also captured most of Riyadh.
  • March 1901: The Kuwaitis captured Unaizah, Buraidah and Al Zulfi.
  • March 1901: Upon hearing of the Kuwaiti invasion, Ibn Saud, brought his troops to the border with Kuwait, and the emir of Kuwait decided to leave the occupied regions of Jabal Shammar.
