Was a dynasty of Abyssinian origin that founded a Kingdom in the lowlands of Yemen.
Establishment
- January 1023: Najah founded the Najahid dynasty in 1022.

1. Conquests of Tughril I
Expansion during the rule of Tughril I in the Seljuk Empire.
- January 1054: Between 1053 and 1154 Oman was part of the Seljuk Empire.
2. Further events (Unrelated to Any War)
- January 1061: Najah lost Aden to the Banu Ma'an Dynasty, only Zabid remained under his possession.
- January 1063: Hadramawt fell into Sulayhid hands after their capture of Aden in 1062.
- January 1064: By 1063, the Sulayhids had subjugated Greater Yemen.
- January 1068: Descendants of Najah murdered Ali al-Sulaihi in 1067 and were able to re-establish the Najahideen dynasty in Zabid.
- January 1084: The Zurayids were a Yamite Hamdani dynasty based in Yemen in the time between 1083 and 1174.
Disestablishment
- January 1159: The last ruler of the Najahids was murdered by Mahdids. the Mahdids took over Zabid in 1158.
