Was a country in southern Laos that emerged from the Kingdom of Vientiane in 1713. A vassal of Siam since 1778, it was later conquered by France and added to the colony of French Indochina.
Establishment
- January 1714: In 1713 the Kingdom of Champasak emerged after a rebellion against Vientiane.
