• January 1403: After 1402, Tamerlane restored the beylik to Menteşoğlu İlyas Bey.

• January 1301: The conquest of the island of Rhodes by the Turks with the landing in 1300 was led by the Menteshe dynasty, a Turkish beylik that controlled parts of Anatolia and the Aegean coast. The capture of Rhodes marked a significant expansion of their territory in the region.
• August 1310: On 15 August 1310, after over four years of campaigning, the city of Rhodes surrendered to the Knights Hospitalier. They also gained control of a number of neighbouring islands and the Anatolian port of Halicarnassus and the island of Kastellorizo.
• January 1315: Whole Rhodes conquered by the Knights Hospitalier.

• January 1415: Ottoman overlordship over Menteshe.
