Establishment

  • January 1097: In 1096 the construction of the Staufer building began by Gozpert de Halensteine, whose grandson Tegenhardus de Haelenstein, also Degenhard von Hellenstein, was a follower of the Staufer emperor Friedrich I Barbarossa.

1. Events

  • January 1295: In 1294 Konrad von Plochingen sold Elchingen (today's Unterelchingen) to the Salem Cistercian monastery.

Disestablishment

  • January 1379: Based on Gustav Droysen's Map of the Holy Roman Empire in the XIV century.
