Establishment

  • January 1086: Goswin I, who is mentioned as such from 1085, is regarded as the first of the Lords of Heinsberg.

  • January 1379: Based on Gustav Droysen's Map of the Holy Roman Empire in the XIV century.

Disestablishment

  • January 1473: In 1472 the rule of Heinsberg came to the Duchy of Jülich-Berg.
