With Tauke Khan's death in 1718, the Kazakh Khanate splintered into three Jüz - the Great jüz, the Middle jüz and the Little jüz. Each Jüz had its own Khan from this time onward.

1. Division of the Kazakh Khanate

With Tauke Khan's death in 1718, the Kazakh Khanate splintered into three Jüz: the Great jüz, the Middle jüz and the Little jüz. Each Jüz had its own Khan from this time onward.
