Was a Chinese Dynasy during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Initially it was a vassal of the Liao Dynasty but became fully independent in 942 AD. It was located in northern China.

Establishment

  • July 942: After the death of the founder of the dynasty, Shi Jingtang, his nephew, adopted son and successor Shi Chonggui defied the Liao.
