Was a dynasty that succeeded the Gupta Empire in the Indian region of Magadha.

Establishment

  • January 648: Around 606 CE, a large area of their empire was reconquered by the Later Guptas.

Disestablishment

  • January 651: Harsha eventually made Kanyakubja (modern Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh) his capital, and ruled till c. 647 CE. He died without an heir, leading to the end of the Pushyabhuti dynasty.
