Establishment
- January 1225: The Chobanids acquired Kastamonu.

1. Events
- January 1310: In 1309, this last Bey of Chobanids fell victim to an ambush by Yaman Candar's son Candaroğlu Süleyman Pasha and the region of Kastamonu passed to the Jandarids.
- January 1336: In the 1330s, outbreaks of the Black Death ravaged the Ilkhanate and both Khan Abu-Sai'd and his sons were killed by 1335 by the plague. The Jalayirids, Chobanids, Muzaffarids, Injuids, Sarbadars, and Kartids took the Ilkhanate's place as the major powers in Iran.
Disestablishment
- January 1357: Khan Jani Beg asserted Jochid dominance over the Chagatai Khanate and conquered Tabriz, ending Chobanid rule there in 1356.
