1. Conquests of Opoku Ware I
Expansion during the rule of Opoku Ware I in the Ashanti Empire.
- January 1724: In 1723 Bono-Manso was conquered by the Asantehene (Ashanti king) Opoku Ware I and incorporated into the Ashanti kingdom.

- January 1251: The Kingdom of was one of the oldest and most organised traditional kingdoms in Ghana founded by the Dagomba people (Dagbamba) in the 11th century.
