Was kingdom that occupied Cilicia, a region of southern Anatolia, emerged with the dissolution of the Neo-Assyrian Empire.
Establishment
- January 611 BC: Cilicians could manage to protect themselves from Assyrian domination and with the dissolution of the Neo-Assyrian Empire in 612 BC, they managed to establish their fully independent kingdom.

1. Wars of Cyrus the Great
Were a series of expansionistic military campaigns by the first Achaemenid ruler Cyrus the Great.
- January 548 BC: Achaemenids could manage to defeat Lydians, thus Appuašu had to recognize the authority of the Persians in 549BC to keep the local administration with the Cilicians. Cilicia became an autonomous satrapy under the reign of Cyrus II.
