Was one of three kingdoms that existed in Okinawa in the 14th century.

Establishment

  • January 1315: In 1314, the territory of purple on the map was taken over by the Kingdom of Chūzan. This kingdom was one of three that ruled over Okinawa in the 14th century, along with the kingdoms of Hokuzan and Nanzan. The Kingdom of Chūzan was led by King Satto and played a significant role in the history of Okinawa during this time period.

Disestablishment

  • January 1430: The Kingdom of Nanzan conquered the Kingdom of Chūzan, uniting both into the Ryukyu Kingdom.
