Establishment

  • January 1351: The state was known as Amber between the fourteenth century and 1727.

  • January 1610: Kishangarh State was founded by the Jodhpur prince Kishan Singh.

Disestablishment

  • January 1728: In that year, a new capital was built and named Jayapura, when the Amber State was renamed as Jaipur.
