  • January 744: The Kimek-Kipchak khanate was a Turkish khaganate (empire) from 743.

1. Events

  • January 751: The Oguzes formed an alliance with the Kimaks and Karluks, and their joint assault defeated the Kangars, whose union dissolved.
  • January 751: Oghuz Turks formed a tribal confederation conventionally named the Oghuz Yabgu State in Central Asia.
  • January 841: The Yenisei Kyrgyz Khaganate was Turkic empire that existed for about a century between the early 9th and 10th centuries, around the start of the Mongol Empire. It ruled over the Yenisei Kyrgyz people.
  • January 851: Expansion of the Khazar Khaganate by 850.
  • January 1000: In 999, Karakhanid ruler Nasr b. Ali, a nephew of Harun, took possession of Bukhara, meeting little resistance.
  • January 1001: The Cuman-Kipchak confederation was a Turkic confederation in the western part of the Eurasian Steppe, between the 10th and 13th centuries.

Disestablishment

  • January 1051: The Kimek-Kipchak khanate is conquered by the Cuman-Kipchak confederation.
