Establishment

  • January 99 BC: The Byeonhan, Jinhan, and Mahan confederacies emerged in the first century BC during the Proto-Three Kingdoms of Korea, or Samhan, period.

1. Events

  • January 56 BC: Silla was founded by Bak Hyeokgeose of Silla in 57 BC, around present-day Gyeongju.

Disestablishment

  • January 351: Jinhan was absorbed by the later Silla.
