Establishment
- January 1126: The Marquisate of Ceva was an ancient aleramic state of medieval Italy, which arose from the dismemberment of the territories that belonged to Bonifacio del Vasto.

1. Events
- January 1353: Ceva was conquered by the Visconti of Milan.
- January 1357: The Visconti were pushed back by the marquis of Ceva in 1356.
Disestablishment
- January 1532: The fragmented marquisate of Ceva was eventually acquired by the French Duke of Orleans, and ultimately Savoy in 1531.
