Establishment

  • January 1101: In the 10th century, the emperor Otto I granted the pro tempore bishop of Feltre, former feudal lord of the Carolingian empire, broad powers and the title of count; in the 11th century Corrado II invested him with the princely title.

Disestablishment

  • January 1236: During the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, Feltre was involved in the tragic events associated with the lordship of the Da Romanos (with the well-known Ezzelino), finally ending up under the power of the Da Caminos.
