Was the zone of influence of the Etruscan Confederation in the Po river basin.

Establishment

  • January 599 BC: Padanian Etruria is the consequence of the expansion of the Etruscans from the 6th century BC. AD north beyond the Apennines. In the Padanian plain, the expansion led to the foundation of an Etruscan dodecapolis, a confederation of twelve cities similar to that existing in southern Etruria.
