Establishment

• January 1651: Anlo state founded.

1. Events

• January 1711: In 1710 Akwamu subdued the Ewe people of the Ho region.
• January 1735: Fort Singelenburgh (today: Keta) conquered by netherlands.
• July 1886: The border between the Gold Coast (now Ghana) and Togo was defined through a treaty between Great Britain and Germany in 1886.

Disestablishment

• January 1902: The British controlled whole modern-day Ghana by 1901.
