- January 599 BC: Expansion of the Magadha Kingdom until 600 BC.
- January 543 BC: The Haryanka dynasty, believed to be the second ruling dynasty of Magadha, succeeded the mythological Barhadratha dynasty in -544.
Disestablishment
- January 499 BC: The Anga Kingdom was disestablished in c. 500 BC.
