- January 336: The Ananda Gotrikas ruled over coastal Andhra (with Kandarapura as the capital from 335-425 AD) after the fall of the Andhra Ikshvakus and claimed descent from the Ananda gotra.

- January 421: During the reign of Madhava Varma, they became independent and conquered coastal Andhra from the Salankayanas and established their capital at Denduluru.
