1. Wars of conquest of Muktapida
In the VIII century Muktapida, an Indian king of the Karkota dynasty of Kashmir, created a short-lived empire covering most of India.
- January 751: According to tradition Kutlehar state was founded around 750 AD by an ancestral king named Raja Gopal.
2. Partition of India
Was the partition of British India in two independent entities: India (with a Hindu majority) and Pakistan (with a Muslim majority). This included the several princely states that were dependent on the British Colony.
- January 1958: Accession of Kutlehar State to India.
3. Further events (Unrelated to Any War)
- January 1802: The formal start of the Sikh Empire began with the unification of the Misls (states) by 1801, creating a unified political state.
- January 1810: Between 1805 and 1809, Kutlehar State was occupied by Nepal until the Gorkha occupants, led by the famous military leader Amar Singh Thapa, were driven out by the British East India Company forces.
- January 1826: Kutlehar State was extinguished in 1825 when it was briefly annexed to Pañjab (Punjab). The same year, after the British established their domination in the area, the Raja of Kutlehar was granted a Jagir to the value of 10,000Rs.
