  • August 1713: During the period between 18 June 1707 and 8 September 1713, Kota State was briefly reunited with Bundi under the rule of Maharaja Bhim Singh of Kota and Maharao Budh Singh of Bundi. This temporary reunification was a result of political alliances and power struggles in the region during that time.
  • December 1817: On 26 December 1817 Kota state became a British protectorate who were granted a hereditary salute of 17 guns by the British.
