January 1585: The state of Jhabua was founded by Kesho Das or Kishan Das, in 1584. He was granted the title of Raja by Mughal Emperor Akbar as a reward for a successful campaign in Bengal.

January 1725: In 1724, Udaji Pawar captured Jhabua State, which remained under his control until 1726. Udaji Pawar was a prominent Maratha general who played a key role in expanding the Maratha Empire's territory. Jhabua State was eventually incorporated into the Maratha Empire as a result of this conquest.
Was the partition of British India in two independent entities: India (with a Hindu majority) and Pakistan (with a Muslim majority). This included the several princely states that were dependent on the British Colony.
January 1948: Accession to India (exact date not known). The Indian Independence Act came into being on 15 August.
January 1727: In 1724, Jhabua was captured by Udaji Pawar, a Maratha general, and remained under his control until 1726. Jhabua State eventually regained control of the territory after Udaji Pawar's rule.
January 1901: Jhabua State signs a subsidiary alliance with the British Empire.
