  • May 1913: 31 may 1913 - 3 august 1914: This peasant rebellion was led by Bai Lang (whose name pronounces similar to "White Wolf" in Chinese). His rebel army was an eclectic mix of anti-Yuan Shikai troops and rebels, bandit groups and Gelaohui (secret society) members.
