Was a revolt of the Baugadians against the Roman rule in the Iberian Peninsula.
- January 502: Alaric II also continued with his father's policy of expansionism in Spain (he defeated the Bagaudi rebels of Tarragona, executing their leader, Burdurello in Toulouse), weakening his army in Gaul.
