Was a United Nations and South Korea military operation against North Korean and Chinese invading forces during the Korean War.
- March 1951: During the night of 14-15 March 1951, elements of the Republic of Korea 1st Infantry Division and the US 3rd Infantry Division, led by General Matthew Ridgway and General Paik Sun-yup, liberated Seoul from North Korean forces during the Korean War.
