  • October 2019: Following the Second Northern Syria Buffer Zone agreement, SDF fighters withdrew from the city of Amuda, leaving it under the military control of the Syrian Army.
  • July 2012: Withdrawal of government troops from the area of Amuda.
  • July 2012: The People's Protection Units (commonly known as YPG) established control of Amuda.
